Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on today (14/04/2008) announced his intention to seek re-election as UMNO's President in the party election, which will be held on December. His move was seen as a blow to the "Power Transition Plan" by Najib, Muhyiddin and which was openly backed by Rais Yatim. UMNO MT - Khir Toyo also joining the crowd and asking Pak Lah to resign today too.
